What it does
Personal Computer brings Perplexity Computer onto a Mac through the Perplexity Mac app, so the agent can search, read and write local files and work in iMessage, Apple Mail, Calendar and other apps as well as the web. On a Mac mini it can run around the clock, and tasks can be started from an iPhone. Perplexity announced it on 11 March 2026 with a waitlist and began rolling it out to Max subscribers and the waitlist on 16 April 2026.
