What it does

Nova 2 is a family of four Amazon models announced in December 2025: Nova 2 Lite, a low-cost reasoning model for everyday work; Nova 2 Pro, Amazon's most capable reasoning model; Nova 2 Sonic, a speech-to-speech model for voice assistants; and Nova 2 Omni, which takes text, images, video and speech and can produce both text and images. Lite and Pro can search the web and run code. Alongside them Amazon launched Nova Forge, for companies to train their own Nova variants, and Nova Act, for browser-automation agents. The models are used through Amazon Bedrock on AWS.
